Reality Learning received four top accolades at the national eLearning Awards for our expertise in innovative design with 360 video, games, stories of lived experience and learning programs that address wicked problems, such as climate change and sustainable urban design.
Our partnerships with RMIT Europe, EIT Urban Mobility, and the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT) played a crucial role in receiving the top awards, showcasing innovative approaches to eLearning.
The collaboration with RMIT Europe and EIT Urban Mobility resulted in three prestigious awards:
- Platinum Award for Best eLearning Design using Game (Industry Specific)
- Platinum Award for Best eLearning Design using 360-Degree Video
- Diamond Award for Best eLearning Project (Industry Specific) Course
These awards highlight our innovative approach to urban dynamics, spatial accessibility, real estate, and walkability in cities. The partnership contributed by:
- Providing expert knowledge in urban planning and mobility from RMIT academics, Melanie Davern, Lucy Gunn, Jan Scheure ,Rebecca Leshinsky, Romaine Logere
- Offering real-world case studies and data
- Facilitating the creation of immersive learning experiences through gamification and 360-degree video technology
Our collaboration with the World Federation of Occupational Therapists led to a Platinum Award for Best eLearning Project in Pandemic/Emergency eLearning. This partnership contributed to our success by:
- Leveraging WFOT’s expertise by Dr Kit Sinclair and Tamara Barboza in occupational therapy and disaster preparedness and Reality Learning modules this partnership has previously produced.
- Incorporating WFOT’s seven principles for disaster preparedness, including identifying community needs, implementing policies, and engaging in research
The success of these partnerships demonstrates our ability to combine cutting-edge learning technologies with real-world expertise and lived experiences, resulting in highly effective and innovative eLearning solutions across various fields.
