Reality Learning is pleased to work with RMIT Europe to develop a suite of online courses late this year to foster more liveable and sustainable cities.

Commissioned by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) Urban Mobility, the courses will be delivered in 2022 to professionals working in the field of urban development as well as sustainably-minded citizens.

This initiative will involve three short-online courses and one multimedia rich online MOOC course that will cover a range of topics spanning urban development ethics, a deep dive into mobility, integration of nature into urban settings and transport.

Collectively the courses will reach over 20 hours of learning content, informed by the expertise of RMIT’s Healthy Liveable Cities Group.

Bringing a team of eLearning, multimedia and academic expertise, Reality Learning will transform the learning content into a meaningful digital learning experience that will be applicable to diverse audiences across Europe.

Reality Learning Director Judith Hewitson and VR Film Director Daniel Bury have award wining experience in delivering film and immersive training programs through VR and 3D rooms to shift attitudes and build capability.

These courses in particular will include 2D remote filming as a response to Covid-19 restrictions. The interactive student-led modules will help shift attitudes and support a rich personalised learning experience for all participants.

Lead eLearning designer Dr Katie Vasey with eLearning expert Spiros Soulis, will further support academics in this work over the coming months. As a not-for-profit committed to building appetite and capability for a more inclusive and caring world, we are incredibly pleased to help deliver on this important work.

We look forward to updating you on the development in the months to come!
